В отличие от рабства, психиатрическое рабство многие американцы рассматривают как благо, а не зло. Скорее всего, дело будет обстоять таким образом до тех пор, пока большинство людей веруют в «научные» сказки психиатров с тем же почтением и отсутствием критического суждения, с которым они верили и часто продолжают верить в религиозные сказки священников. Когда-то американская религия, американский закон и американская медицина поддерживали систему рабства, т.е. союз между рабством и государством.
